“This is a full throttle Cab that has all the hallmarks of a perfect vintage. The bouquet is captivating with black cherry, cassis, and lavender. Hedonistic fruit including jammy blackberry, blueberry, and cassis is supported by a structure of supple tannins. Hints of mocha and creamy vanilla oak float across the pallet on the delectable finish. Enjoy over the next 5 years.”

One taster wrote…. “A real gem from Benoit Toquette. Big, jammy black fruits and cherry with some strong cocoa notes on the back of the palate. Nice presence of supple tannins on the finish. This wine is going to be even greater in a year (probably less). This is a bargain in today’s crowded, high end cab market.” 94
