Wine Advocate 98

“The 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon The Trail, fashioned from Clone 337, was aged in 100% new Darnajou barrels. It exhibits a dense purple color, a fabulous texture, a full-bodied mouthfeel, and lots of blueberry, blackberry and cassis fruit intermixed with hints of graphite and spring flowers. This is a Napa version of a Bordeaux Pauillac, only richer and fuller. It should drink well for the next 15-20 years.” – Robert Parker

These incredible wines should be sought out by anyone looking for amazing, high test, full-throttle, pedal-to-the-metal Cabernet Sauvignons. Made by Russell Bevan, they share a similar style to his portfolio of enormously endowed, world-class, profound Cabernet Sauvignons. There are two cuvées, both from the Oakville AVA.

The Harbison Vineyard is located adjacent to the top blocks used by Screaming Eagle!
